Belek is best known for golf greens and long flat beaches, but the Taurus foothills start just inland — and that is where the buggy convoy goes. Once the tarmac ends, the trails turn to dirt: forest tracks, loose gravel, powder-fine dust in the dry months, deep mud after rain, and the shallow river crossings that are the real reason people choose a buggy over a coach excursion. We run these convoys ourselves as a local off-road operator, so you are booking with the people who own the machines and lead the ride.
What a buggy actually is
A buggy is a two-seat side-by-side off-road vehicle — nothing like a quad you straddle. You sit in it, side by side, behind a steel roll cage with seatbelts and a car-style steering wheel. If you can drive a car, the controls will already make sense to you.
- Two seats: one adult drives, the second seat carries a partner, a friend or a child (tell us the child's age when you book).
- Caged and belted: steel roll cage, seatbelts, helmet and goggles issued before the start.
- Shared, not solo: couples and families stay together instead of shouting across two separate machines.
- Accident insurance is included in every departure.
Who drives — no licence, no experience
You do not need a driving licence and you do not need off-road experience. The driver has to be an adult, and after that it is simply about ability: anyone who can handle the buggy confidently drives, and anyone who would rather not rides as a passenger for exactly the same money. Nobody is pushed into the driver's seat, and nobody is charged extra for switching.
How the session runs from Belek
Pickup is at your hotel door. At the base you get a full safety briefing and a practice lap on easy ground before the convoy leaves, so the first river crossing is not also your first metre behind the wheel. A professional off-road guide leads from the front and sets the pace to the slowest driver in the group — this is a convoy, not a race. Morning departures give you firmer, cooler trails; the golden-hour and sunset sessions give you low light through the dust and the best photographs of the day. Expect to get filthy, and wear clothes and shoes you do not care about.

Reserve free, pay on the tour day
There is no prepayment and no card details taken online. You reserve your buggy for free, and you pay the guide on the day of the tour in cash or by card — after you have seen the machines and met the team. Because you are booking direct with the operator rather than through a hotel desk or an online reseller, you get the best price with nobody's commission stacked on top. Our team is on WhatsApp 24/7 for pickup times, child seating questions or a last-minute change of date, so send a message and we will hold your seats.
