Kızılağaç sits just behind the Side coastal strip, close enough to the Taurus foothills that the off-road tracks start only a short drive from your hotel. That geography is why the pickup works so well here: you stay in a quiet resort village and still reach real trail country without organising a thing yourself.
What the terrain behind Kızılağaç is like
This is not a fenced practice field. The route runs on working forest and farm tracks that climb into the Taurus foothills and drop toward the canyon country inland of Manavgat. Expect deep dust in high summer, churned mud where the shade holds water, loose gravel on the climbs and shallow river crossings that soak everyone in the convoy. The surface changes constantly, which is exactly what makes a buggy interesting to drive — you are reading the track, not following a line painted on the ground.
The two-seat caged buggy, and who takes the wheel
Our buggies are side-by-side machines: two seats next to each other inside a steel roll cage, with seatbelts and a car-style steering wheel. If you have driven a car, the controls will feel familiar within a minute. One adult drives; the second seat carries a partner, a friend or a child whose age we confirm when you book. Sharing the cab is the whole point of a buggy — you shout, you laugh, you get filthy together, instead of riding alone in single file.
No driving licence is needed and no experience is expected. Ability decides who drives. Anyone who does not feel confident after the practice lap rides as a passenger and pays exactly the same.
How the session runs
- Free door-to-door pickup from your Kızılağaç accommodation at the agreed time.
- Short transfer to our nearest base, where you meet the guides and the machines.
- Helmets and goggles issued, then a full safety briefing in plain language.
- A practice lap on easy ground so you find the throttle, brakes and steering before anything technical.
- The guided convoy departs — professional off-road guides lead and set the pace to the slowest driver, not the fastest.
- Water crossings, photo stops, then the transfer back to your hotel door.
Morning sessions run cooler and dustier; the late golden-hour and sunset departures give you low light across the foothills and far better photographs. Accident insurance is included in every session.
Free pickup from Kızılağaç, Gündoğdu, Kızılot and Side
Transfer is genuinely free — not discounted, not refunded later. We collect from Kızılağaç, Gündoğdu, Kızılot and Side, as well as Manavgat, Boğazkent, Belek, the Alanya resorts of Türkler, Okurcalar and Avsallar, and Kemer. Because we are the local operator running the convoy, the driver knows the small hotels and apartment blocks around Kızılağaç without a landmark hunt at the roadside.
Reserve free, pay on the day
Booking online costs you nothing and takes no card details: you reserve your seat, we confirm your pickup time, and you pay the guide on tour day in cash or by card. That is the best price direct from the operator, with no agency margin stacked on top and nothing to lose if plans change. Message us on WhatsApp any time — we answer 24/7, in advance or on the morning itself.
