What the terrain behind Manavgat is like
Manavgat sits where the coastal plain runs into the first ridges of the Taurus, so the trails begin almost as soon as the tarmac ends. Expect forest tracks under pine, dry dust in the heat of the day, churned mud where the ground stays wet, and shallow river crossings that throw water over the cage and everyone in it. Higher up the route opens into canyon country, where the track narrows, the ruts get honest and the view back down the valley is the reward for the climb.
The buggy: two seats, one steel cage
Our buggies are two-seat side-by-side machines, not motorbike-style quads. You sit next to your partner, friend or child, belted in inside a steel roll cage, with a car-style steering wheel and pedals and nothing to balance. That shared cab is the whole selling point: you talk, you laugh, you swap seats at the break, and nobody spends the tour riding alone behind somebody's shoulders.
Who drives, and who doesn't have to
No driving licence and no previous off-road experience are required. The driver must be an adult, and after that ability decides everything: if the practice lap goes well, you drive; if you would rather not, you ride shotgun for exactly the same money and lose nothing but the steering wheel. Children ride as passengers in the second seat — tell us their age when you book.
How a session runs, start to finish
- Free hotel pickup — collected door to door from your Manavgat, Side, Sorgun or Evrenseki hotel at the agreed time.
- Kit and briefing — helmets and goggles issued, controls explained, hand signals and convoy rules covered before an engine starts.
- Practice lap — a slow loop on easy ground so throttle, brakes and steering stop being theory.
- The convoy — professional off-road guides lead and sweep, setting the pace to the group rather than to the fastest driver in it.
- Water, dust and the run home — river crossings, a stop on the trail, then the transfer back to your door.
Morning sessions run while the ground is still cool; golden-hour departures put low sun sideways across the trail and finish in soft light. Accident insurance is included on every departure.
