Off-road from the doorstep of Side Star Resort
Side Star Resort puts you close to Side's long sandy shoreline and ancient theatre, an easy base for a burst of off-road adventure between beach days. We have no partnership or affiliation with the resort; we simply pick up guests staying there for free and handle the ride. After we collect you from reception, a short transfer carries you to the nearest quad base in the hills behind Side.
What you actually ride
Forget gentle laps. The route pushes up into the Taurus foothills on rough forest tracks, drops through shallow river crossings and churns across muddy, uneven ground that keeps you working the bars. Each person rides their own quad, so you own the throttle and follow the guide at your own pace.
What is included
- Free pick-up and drop-off at Side Star Resort
- One quad per rider
- Helmet, goggles and full safety briefing
- Practice lap before the trail begins
- Guide leading the whole route
- Insurance for the ride
Beginners genuinely welcome
No driving licence and no prior off-road time are required. The team explains the controls, you take a warm-up lap on level ground, and only then do you head out. If you can accelerate and brake, you are good to go. Dress in clothes and shoes you are happy to see caked in dust and splashed with river water, because that mess is the whole point.
How the timing works
Depending on availability your pick-up is scheduled for either a morning or an afternoon session, so we confirm your exact timing when you book rather than quoting a clock time here. It slots neatly around a relaxed day at Side Star Resort, and we return you to the same reception afterwards. Since we handle door-to-door transfer, you skip the taxis, the parking and the guesswork of finding a base on your own.
Handy tips before you go
Come dressed for dust and water. Closed shoes are far better than flip-flops on the pegs, and a spare T-shirt means you are not tramping back through the Side Star Resort lobby caked in mud. The forest sections are open to the sun, so a dab of sun cream and the goggles you are given keep you comfortable. Keep phones and valuables to a minimum and only carry what sits tight in a zipped pocket, because the trail is deliberately rough and bouncy.
The tour to book
From Side Star Resort, reserve the City of Side Quad Safari. It is the go-to off-road route for guests in the Side area, packing forest tracks, mud and river crossings into one guided run with a proper base and support team.
