Türkler sits on the coast road between Avsallar and Okurcalar, and the Taurus foothills start climbing barely a few minutes inland. That closeness is the whole point: you get the dust, the forest tracks and the water crossings without spending your day on a coach. We collect you free from your Türkler hotel and drive you to our nearest departure base, where the buggies are lined up and waiting.
What the off-road terrain is like
The trails behind this stretch of coast are genuine working tracks, not a groomed circuit. Expect powdery dust on the dry sections, churned mud where shade keeps the ground damp, tight forest lanes under pine, and shallow river and stream crossings where the water sprays up over the cage. Higher up, the route opens into Taurus foothill and canyon country with long, rutted climbs. The convoy runs in the morning or in the golden-hour session, when the light is low and the dust hangs gold behind the car in front.
Dress for it. You will finish the tour genuinely dirty, and that is the souvenir most people come for.
The two-seat caged buggy
Our buggies are side-by-side vehicles, not single-seat quads. That changes the experience completely:
- Two seats, side by side — your partner, friend or child rides next to you, not clinging on behind (confirm your child's age when you reserve).
- Steel roll cage and seatbelts — you are strapped into a protected cab.
- Car-style steering wheel and pedals — if you can drive a car, the controls are already familiar.
- Helmet and goggles supplied, plus accident insurance included in every booking.
Who drives, and who doesn't
No driving licence and no off-road experience are required. The driver must be an adult, and beyond that it is ability that decides, not paperwork. Everyone gets a full safety briefing and a practice lap on easy ground before the convoy leaves — that lap is where you find out honestly whether you want the wheel. Anyone who would rather not drive rides as a passenger for exactly the same money, and swapping seats mid-tour is normal. Nobody is pushed into driving a machine they are not comfortable with.
How the day runs from Türkler
- Free door-to-door pickup from your hotel in Türkler, Okurcalar, Avsallar and the wider Alanya area.
- Short transfer to our nearest base, where you are matched to a buggy.
- Safety briefing, helmets and goggles, then the practice lap.
- The guided convoy heads out — professional off-road guides lead from the front and set the pace to the group, so a nervous first-timer is never left chasing the pack.
- Water and mud sections, photo stops, then the transfer back to your hotel.
Prefer a bigger day out? The same pickup covers our buggy and quad combos with Köprülü Canyon rafting, including the 3-in-1 with zipline and the 4-in-1 that adds Tazı Canyon.
